Hoeger House is a Cedar Lake Village, Inc., property, located on the campus of the Olathe Medical Center and is operated in partnership with the Good Samaritan Society. Hoeger House provides short-term rehabilitation for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Our therapists are dedicated to providing each patient with individualized treatment programs and one-on-one therapy sessions. We provide a progressive, proactive, and multidisciplinary approach to therapy through:
Physical Therapy
- Balance Training
- Gait Training
- Joint and soft tissue mobilization
- Home safety and management
- Bathroom safety
- Wound care
- Pain management - ultrasound and E-stim
- Strength and endurance training
- Contracture management - orthotics
Physical therapy can help patients return to normal activities with increased strength, balance and endurance.
Occupational Therapy
- Activities of daily living - bathing, dressing, etc.
- Home safety evaluation
- Upper extremity, fine motor, and therapeutic exercise program

- Contracture management - splinting

Patients learn exercises to strengthen muscles and improve condition.
Speech Therapy
